Abstract

Pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia (PCP) is the most common opportunistic infection with the highest lethality among acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS)-related diseases, and there are many cases where HIV infection is revealed by PCP as an initial manifestation.
