Giuseppe Muscogiuri, MD

Dr. Muscogiuri graduated from the medical school of Sapienza – University of Rome in 2010. He completed residency in Radiology at the University of Rome -“Sapienza” of Rome in 2016.

Over the course of his career he has developed a strong background in cardiovascular imaging, with specific training and expertise in clinical practice and key research areas. He was fellow of both cardiac CT and MR in some of the most prestigious such as the Katholiek Universiteit of Leuven, Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston (USA), University College of London-BARTS Heart Center and Bambino Gesù-Children Hospital IRCCS in Rome.

After residency he worked as research fellow and radiologist on Cardiovascular Imaging at Bambino Gesù-Children’s Hospital IRCCS of Rome where he maturated experience in congenital cardiovascular imaging. Subsequently, from July of 2017, he started to work as radiologist in Centro Cardiologico Monzino-IRCCS in Milan.

Dr. Muscogiuri is a PhD student at University of Rome-“Sapienza” with his project focused on MR myocardial perfusion in dilated cardiomyopathy.

During his academic career, he authored 54 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and four book chapters.
