Dr. Mo graduated from medical school of Nanjing University in 2015, and now is a senior resident in Nanjing Drum Tower hospital. He is qualified as Chinese Board Certificated Surgeon.

His main researches are focused on cardiothoracic surgery, especially on tumor surgery. Also, he pays his attention on the relationship between ncRNA and lung cancer proliferation and invasion. He published 7 academic papers as first/co-first author, and supported by 2 funding including National Science Foundation of China. Meanwhile, he began working as a section editor with the journal Annals of Translational Medicine in 2015, and as a reviewer for several journals.
