Dr. Shuangjiang Li is an eight-year M.D. program student of West China Medical Center, Sichuan University. He entered the Sichuan University in 2011 and got the Bachelor of Clinical Medicine in 2016. He is now engaged in the clinical and scientific researches of the thoracic oncological specialty at his M.D. candidate stage of the eight-year medical program.

He was voted the Outstanding Student of Sichuan University, and won the College Student Comprehensive Quality Evaluation Award and the United Medical Education Scholarship while studying at the school. Since 2015, he has published 21 peer-reviewed original articles and reviews as the first author in several renowned SCI journals in the specialty of thoracic diseases, such as the Annals of Thoracic Surgery, European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Diseases of the Esophagus, Journal of Thoracic Disease, Interactive CardioVascular and Thoracic Surgery, Cancer Management and Research, and BMC Cancer. He has also published 2 SCI papers as the first co-author and participated in another 7 SCI papers. In addition, he also contributed to the chapters of one book from the AME Surgery Series.
