Min Zhang, MD

Dr. Min Zhang is a graduate of Chongqing Medical University (MD). He received training in General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University and the Civil Hospital of Strasbourg, France. After completing a Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at the Civil Hospital of University of Strasbourg, Dr. Zhang joined the faculty at Chongqing Medical University. He is currently a surgeon and Director of teaching affairs in the Department of Thoracic Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University.

As a surgeon, Dr. Zhang participates in more than 300 operations in his service every year. He is capable of completing most of surgeries in the field of thoracic surgery, such as lobectomy, esophagectomy, sympathectomy. He is also good at minimal invasive surgery, such as thoracoscopy. As a Director of teaching affairs, Dr. Zhang supervises the clinical and research education in Lung Cancer and Esophageal Cancer. He is also involved in improving safety and quality in patient care, as a member of the Quality and Safety Committee.

Dr. Zhang focuses on medical researches and publishes some medical articles in many journals.
