Dr.Wang is currently the member of the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and deputy chief of the VATS Group in the Chinese Medical Association, member of the standing committee of the Thoracic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association (Deputy Director of the Shanghai Work Department, Vice chairman of the Minimally Invasive Group), member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese Anticancer Associations on Esophageal Cancer, member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese Anticancer Associations on Lung Cancer,Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons, member of the Thoracic Surgery of the Clinical Pathway Expert Committee of the Ministry of Health, member of Standing Committee of the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery of the Endoscopy Professional Technical Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Health, deputy director of the Branch of the Thoracic Surgery Specialist of the Shanghai Medical Association, deputy director of the Thoracic Oncology Committee of the Shanghai Medical Association. He is a member of the editorial board of ATS Chinese Journal, Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Chinese Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery, Chinese Journal of Clinical Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Shanghai Medical Journal and Journal of Thoracic Disease.
Dr. Wang is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common and rare diseases in general thoracic surgery. He has rich experience in various types of thoracic regular and complex operations, especially for lung cancer and esophageal cancer. He advocates the standardized treatment of lung cancer and esophageal cancer, with particular emphasis on the complete lymph node dissection in lung cancer and esophageal cancer surgery. He is good at VATS lobectomy, segmentectomy and other minimally invasive surgery.
He has published more than 30 papers in academic journals, including over 10 papers in SCI in recent 5 years.
