Dr. Xi-Jian Dai graduated from Department of Radiology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University. He received training in the department of Imaging and Interventional Radiology, Prince of Wales Hospital, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the School of Medicine of Peking University, and Beijing Normal University. Now, he works at the Brain Cognition & Brain Disease Institute for Collaboration Research of SIAT at CAS and the McGovern Institute at MIT, and Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

He serves on several editorial boards such as SM Radiology journal, Austin Journal of Sleep Disorders, Current Synthetic and Systems Biology, SM Journal of Depression Research and Treatment, Kenkyu journal of Cancers & Advanced Therapies and Chinese journal of clinical thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, and works as a reviewer for several journals such as Plos one, Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment, Chinese Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Radiologic Practice and Therapeutics, Clinical Risk Management, and Journal of Clinical and Pathological research.

He has published more than 30 academic papers in journals such as Sleep Medicine, J Clin Sleep Med, Plos one, and Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment et al., including seven papers as the first author or corresponding author. His academic papers have been cited for over 100 times by Google scholar, and the h-index is seven. 

He has applied for a patent. Furthermore, he has authored chapters for two books as an editor, including Contrast clinical application in thoracic disease between CT and MR, and Contrast clinical application in musculoskeletal system disease between CT and MR. 

His main research interests focus on meta-analysis, CT and MRI diagnosis in the undifferentiated thoracic disease, functional MRI, sleep disorder and Neuroimaging.
