Takuro Miyazaki, MD, PhD

Assistant Professor, Department Surgical Oncology, Nagasaki University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Nagasaki, JAPAN

Dr. Miyazaki graduated and received his medical degree from Nagasaki University in 2000. And, he obtained a PhD at Nagasaki University in 2011. He completed his Thoracic Surgery Residency at the Department of Surgical Oncology, Nagasaki University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. In 2007, He was a clinical fellow of Cardiothoracic Surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, Australia. In 2010, he became assistant professor of Department of Surgical Oncology, Nagasaki University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

Dr. Miyazaki is a Board Certified Surgeon of Japan Surgical Society and Japanese Association for Chest Surgery. His main research interests include lung cancer surgery, minimally invasive surgery, post thoracotomy pain, airway stent, and lung transplantation.
