Dr. Henry Soo-Min Park is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Therapeutic Radiology (Radiation Oncology) at the Yale School of Medicine. He obtained his B.S. in music and neurobiology at Yale University, M.D. with honors at the Yale School of Medicine, and M.P.H. in biostatistics, epidemiology, and decision science at the Harvard School of Public Health. He also completed his internal medicine internship at Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and his residency and chief residency at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Dr. Park’s research focuses on evaluating determinants of population-based outcomes, health services utilization, and medical decision-making for patients with cancer. Using institutional records, large national databases, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses, his goal is to gain insight into the sociodemographic, clinicopathologic, and healthcare system factors that influence the quality of oncologic care.

Dr. Park has co-authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications, reviews, and chapters through close collaborations with members of the Yale Radiation Oncology Consortium (YROC) and Yale Cancer Outcomes, Public Policy, and Effectiveness Research Center (COPPER). He has also lectured extensively at national and international conferences. In addition, he has received several honors from the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the Korean-American Society of Radiation Oncology (KASTRO), the American Radium Society (ARS), and the International Gamma Knife Research Foundation (IGKRF).
