Dr. Hamada is a thoracic surgeon of the department of Cardiovascular, Thoracic and Pediatric surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Yamagata University, Yamagata, Japan. He graduated and received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Yamagata University in 2010. He completed his Surgery Residency from 2010 to 2015 in Nihonkai general hospital, Yamagata, Japan and Thoracic Residency from April to October in 2015 in the National Cancer Center Hospital, Tokyo, Japan. He has worked for the Faculty of Medicine, Yamagata University since October in 2015. He got an award of Great Potential in 2016 Masters of Thoracic Surgery – Uniportal VATS Lobectomy & VATS Segmentectomy video contest. His research interests are mainly Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery Segmentectomy and Subsegmentectomy.
