Woo Surng Lee, MD, PhD

Dr. WooSurng Lee is a medical doctor and a professor in department of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at Konkuk University, South Korea. He received his M.D. and majored in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery from Hallym University Hospital, South Korea, and received a Ph.D. in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery from Kangwon National University in 2016. He minored in traumatology and received medical subspecialty board certification on traumatology in 2011. Furthermore, he also minored in critical care medicine and received medical subspecialty board certification on critical care medicine in 2012. His research interests cover the thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, intensive & critical care medicine, and traumatology, with over 30 publications. He also has a great interest in lung physiology, especially on respiratory muscle and EMG.
