Mong-Wei Lin, MD, PhD

Dr. Mong-Wei Lin is an assistant professor of Department of Surgery at National Taiwan University. He received his MD degree at School of Medicine, National Taiwan University, and received his PhD degree at Graduate Institute of Pathology, National Taiwan University. He completed his specialty training in General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery at the National Taiwan University Hospital. He was a clinical research fellow in the Department of Thoracic Surgery, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, United States (2010) and in the Department of General Surgery, Keio University Hospital, Japan (2013). He has been the deputy secretary general of Taiwan Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery since 2015.
Dr. Lin’s main research and clinical interests are: innovative technologies in minimally invasive thoracoscopic surgery, uniportal thoracoscopic surgery, thoracic pathology studies, and thoracic image studies. His academic contributions include more than 40 publications in peer-reviewed indexed international journals. He presented his work on these subjects at AATS Centennial meeting, 33rd and 34th JACS annual meetings, 24th ASCVTS annual meetings, 9th ATSC biennial conference, and other international conferences.
