General Information of 4th Anatomy Class of Shanghai Chest Hospital and Registration

Hosted by Shanghai Chest Hospital, the Anatomy Class is one of the most influential training courses on clinical anatomy for Chinese thoracic surgeons. Our previous seminars including diverse themes such as "anatomy of the cervicothoracic junction", "anatomy of the thoracoabdominal junction", "anatomy of the junction between the lungs and heart/major vessels", and "anatomy of the laryngeal-tracheal-carinal region". These courses offered essential knowledge for the treatment of Pancoast tumors, benign diseases at the esophagogastric junction, and various conditions during thoracoscopic surgery.

As a featured program in ISES, the Anatomy Class of Shanghai Chest Hospital  will continue to adhere to the principle of “close to clinical practice” by focusing on topics including carina resection and reconstruction via the left and median approaches, posterolateral approach for Pancoast tumors, anatomy of the neck root via the anterior approach, and anatomy of the upper esophagus after sternotomy. We are very pleased to offer basically theoretical support and anatomical training for thoracic surgeons who are interested in performing such operations.
