Dr. Avinash Aujayeb currently works as a Respiratory Consultant, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, UK. He is the Pleural Lead. He is a member of the BTS pleural SAG and Secretary of Assembly 11 of the ERS. He is also an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer (Northumbria Base) for Newcastle University. His main area of interests include malignant and benign pleural effusions, pneumothorax, pleural infection and mesothelioma.
