Abstract

Like most other types of cancers, human breast cancer occurs as a result of a multistep process that generally consists of initiation and progression resulting from uncontrolled cell proliferation and/or aberrant apoptosis as a consequence of cumulative genetic and/or epigenetic alterations in genome.
