Abstract

In the June 2017 issue of the ASAIO journal, Truby et al. described a retrospective, monocenter cohort of 121 patients who underwent veno-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VA-ECMO) implantation because of refractory cardiogenic shock (1).
